Description

You will develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications within IBM Mainframe environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into effective application solutions.
• Modify and support existing legacy systems to accommodate new business needs and system enhancements.
• Conduct impact analysis, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and system changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications using COBOL on IBM Mainframe platforms.
• Proven ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize COBOL applications.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise and legacy systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
