Description

You will provide technical expertise and guidance within a mainframe environment to support complex business processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
• Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor less experienced team members on technical workflows.
• Recommend strategies to improve existing system applications.
• Manage moderate to complex projects independently with IT and business units.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
• Strong understanding of application development methodologies and tools.
• Experience in credit, debit, or financial functional areas.
• Ability to support production and handle on-call requirements.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Assembler.
• Experience with emerging technologies.
