Description

You will provide technical expertise and application development support within a mainframe environment, owning the lifecycle of moderate to complex projects across IT and business units.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
• Manage moderate to complex projects independently across IT and business units.
• Support production environments, including availability for on-call rotations as needed.
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members on technical processes and delivery.
• Recommend strategies to improve system applications and internal business processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related IT experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
• Experience with Mainframe technologies and application development methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of credit, debit, or financial industry processes.
• Ability to work through complex internal business functions.

• Assembler knowledge.
• Intertest experience.
