Description

You will design mainframe application roadmaps and future-state architectures as a technical lead.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design application roadmaps and future-state architectures for mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with Business SMEs and Solution Architects to define technical requirements.
• Conduct pilots and proofs of concept to validate technical approaches.
• Review code and designs from team members, providing constructive feedback.
• Manage stakeholders and interface with delivery partners on technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with COBOL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Proven ability to work within both Agile and Waterfall SDLC models.
• Experience working with distributed offshore and onshore development teams.
• Strong background in stakeholder management and handling customer inquiries.
• Ability to provide technical expertise regarding functional and application aspects.
• Experience participating in governance reviews.

• Experience working in complex, multi-cultural environments.
