Description

You will build and maintain database systems on the mainframe platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DB2/SQL Stored Procedures (native and external).
• Support and troubleshoot batch processes, including rotational duties.
• Analyze and resolve complex data issues, including Abends and SQLCODE.
• Apply strong data analysis skills to solve technical problems throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with DB2/SQL, Stored Procedures, COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
• Experience in trading or financial services platforms is required.
• Strong fundamentals in SQL Queries, Error handling, and Global Temporary Tables (GTTs).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies in a team setting.
• Deep understanding of concurrency and high-volume server-side development.
• Familiarity with MQ and XML Parsing.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial domain.
