Description

We are hiring a Senior Mainframe DB2 System Programmer (16+ yrs) to support enterprise z/OS environments. The role involves installing/upgrading DB2 via SMP/E or z/OSMF, customizing BMC DB2 Utilities & MainView, and resolving performance issues with Application DBAs. You will lead DB2 V13 deployments, design standards, support multi–data center setups, and ensure high availability & disaster recovery.

Must Have:
16+ yrs DB2 systems programming on z/OS
Strong hands-on with SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, IBM utilities
Experience with BMC tools, Sysplex, WLM integration
Expertise in DB2 installs, PTFs, tuning, and system support
Excellent communication & project leadership skills
Nice to Have: CICS 5.6+, Oracle/SQL, Linux, z/VM, DB2 V13 via z/OSMF
