Description

Develop and support mainframe applications for utility customer billing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance functionality within the Customer/1 (C/1) application.
• Implement business and regulatory requirements using standard mainframe development practices.
• Perform impact analysis and code changes for customer setup, billing calculations, and invoicing.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, analyzing and fixing batch and online processing issues.
• Support testing phases (unit, system, UAT) and maintain application documentation.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience as a mainframe application developer or senior support developer.
• Hands-on development experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and/or IMS.
• Experience with DB2 on z/OS.
• Experience supporting Customer Information Systems (CIS) in a utility environment.
• Experience supporting batch and online processing in production environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
