Description

You will own the development and maintenance of core banking ledgers, settlements, and trade lifecycle systems on the mainframe.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize COBOL programs, JCL streams, and DB2/VSAM datasets for batch processing and trade workflows.
• Build and maintain CICS transactions to support customer servicing, payments, and trade booking.
• Create Python utilities for batch orchestration, file/stream processing (SWIFT/ISO 20022, FIX/FAST), and data validation.
• Implement ETL processes and API adapters to bridge mainframe services with microservices and data lakes.
• Support downstream analytics platforms for risk reporting, liquidity monitoring, and reconciliations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 and VSAM.
• Experience building and maintaining CICS transactions.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and integration scripts.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
• Familiarity with MySQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Any Graduate).
