Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications on z/OS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and debug COBOL programs using JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
• Perform analysis, coding, testing, and debugging of mainframe applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and production support teams.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL programming.
• Strong knowledge of JCL, DB2 (SQL, stored procedures), CICS, and VSAM.
• Experience with mainframe debugging and performance tuning.
• Understanding of batch processing and scheduling tools (Control-M, CA7).
• Familiarity with SDLC processes including Agile or Waterfall.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.
