Description

Develop, test, and implement mainframe-based applications and databases within enterprise-level systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Execute end-to-end QA testing in Finance and Brokerage, ensuring compliance with DTC and SEC standards.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve issues in complex enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to conduct impact analysis and requirement gathering.
• Map and articulate enterprise data flows to support development and implementation cycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and SQL.
• Proficiency in SQL Stored Procedures and messaging queues (IBM MQ or Kafka).
• Experience with CICS, Easytrieve, Datacom, and SORT utilities.
• Hands-on use of Control-M, ChangeMan, FileAid, Startool, TOAD, and SPUFI.
• Strong RCA skills for troubleshooting complex application environments.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency using JIRA and Rally for workflow management.

Preferred Skills

• REXX for QA automation or SDET functions.
• BlueZone Session Manager scripting for QA automation.
