Description

You will design, develop, and test mainframe applications while supporting the full systems life cycle. You will collaborate with clients, business analysts, and team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application software using JCL, COBOL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC.
• Analyze business requirements to create technical solutions compliant with organizational standards.
• Provide support across the full systems life cycle to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand healthcare payor functions and business needs.
• Lead projects and ensure effective problem-solving and communication throughout the development process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of application programming and analysis experience.
• Proficiency in JCL, COBOL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC.
• Broad understanding of information systems and application architecture standards.
• Experience designing, developing, and testing applications using proven technologies.
• Understanding of healthcare payor functions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Project management experience.
