Description

You will develop, deploy, and support automated solutions across mainframe infrastructure to eliminate manual intervention and ensure system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automated solutions for IPLs, application recovery, and auto-ticket generation.
• Support automation applications through z/OS upgrades and data centre consolidation projects.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure critical event management and remote console access.
• Design, integrate, and implement all automation tool functionality within multi-complex/LPAR environments.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis, performing diagnostics and RCA.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in mainframe development and automation.
• Proficiency in IBM SA z/OS and IBM System Automation.
• Experience with CA OPS/MVS and migration projects.
• Strong programming skills in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, DR activities, and infrastructure restore procedures.
• Ability to support inherited client automation code and manage complex environments.
