Description

Lead development and optimization of large-scale financial mainframe applications, serving as the primary subject matter expert.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable mainframe applications using legacy and modern toolsets.
• Provide QA oversight, support deployments across environments, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Mentor junior developers and drive continuous improvement in design standards and development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 7+ years in a Lead Developer or Development Manager role.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with CA Gen, Classic ASP (VBScript/JScript), and DB2 for z/OS or Oracle.
• Strong SQL proficiency and expertise in the CA Gen workstation toolset and Com Proxy service.
• Solid knowledge of IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL, and COBOL.
• Proven experience supporting complex financial business applications.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET.
