Description

You will own mainframe application development and the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include designing, coding, and implementing application changes while ensuring code quality through unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement application changes using COBOL.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and execute unit test scenarios to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Support and turnover changes through the deployment lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, and Db2.
• Experience with Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Deep understanding of lifecycle components including code, test, and deploy.
• Ability to pass a mandatory coding test.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Payments or Cards domain.
