Description

You will own mainframe application development and the full software development lifecycle.

You will design, code, and implement application changes using COBOL. You will analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will write and execute unit test scenarios to ensure code quality. You will troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. You will support changes through the deployment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application changes using COBOL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, and Db2.
• Experience with Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Deep understanding of lifecycle components including code, test, and deploy.
• Ability to pass a mandatory coding test.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Payments or Cards domain.
