Description

You will develop and maintain production software systems within a mainframe environment, ensuring data quality and addressing complex security requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement code changes following established standards, guidelines, and design documents.
• Coordinate testing, debugging, and the preparation of test data.
• Interact with technical and non-technical staff to coordinate system changes.
• Manage data integration across systems.
• Address highly complex application security requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe software development.
• 5+ years of experience with IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS.
• 5+ years of experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS.
• 5+ years of experience with MVS/JCL.
• 5+ years of experience with Software AG's NATURAL.
• 2+ years of experience with Texas CPA Statewide Financial Systems (USAS, USPS, SPRS, TINS, HRIS, or SPA).
• 2+ years of Agile experience using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.
• 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of experience with CICS Web Services or CONTROL-M for z/OS.
• 5 years of public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• Experience with React JS, Node JS, Python, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, or CSS.
