Description

You will develop, test, and maintain mainframe-based applications and databases within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues in complex enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to conduct impact analysis and understand requirements.
• Map enterprise-level systems and data flows to support testing and implementation.
• Execute end-to-end testing in the Finance and Brokerage industry, adhering to regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and SQL.
• Proficiency with SQL Stored Procedures and SORT utilities.
• Experience with messaging queues including IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Hands-on use of CICS, Easytrieve, Datacom, and ChangeMan.
• Competency with scheduling and utility tools: Control-M, FileAid, Startool, TOAD, and SPUFI.
• Experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, ART) using JIRA or Rally.
• Strong RCA skills for troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.
• Background in Finance or Brokerage industry, including experience with DTCK and SEC regulations.

Preferred Skills

• REXX for QA automation or SDET tasks.
• BlueZone Session Manager scripting.
