Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and remediation of core mainframe applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the SDLC process in Endeavor for COBOL and Copybook remediation.
• Collaborate with discovery teams to plan and analyze automated assembler macros and code transformations.
• Review arithmetic logic, literals, and SIZE ERROR handling in existing code.
• Coordinate copybook updates across multiple programs and lead code reviews.
• Assume responsibility for ongoing bug fixes after handover.

Required Skills

• Minimum 11 years of professional experience.
• 7+ years of COBOL experience on z/OS.
• Expertise in Mainframe systems, including VSAM, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
• Proven ability to handle complex data handling techniques.
• Proficiency with mainframe debugging tools.
• Experience with unit testing and file layout design.
