Description

You will design, code, and test mainframe applications while managing the full lifecycle from development to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test mainframe applications through all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve routine incidents and participate in root cause analysis during incident responses.
• Automate repetitive processes and streamline activities to reduce manual effort and costs.
• Execute scheduled maintenance, including system upgrades and disaster recovery tests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Digital Product Managers to write technical stories, size tasks, and assess application impacts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in COBOL.
• Experience with Assembler.
• Experience with DB2.
• Knowledge of Mainframe technologies.
• Experience applying Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to implement secure computing practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
