Description

You will maintain and support mainframe storage environments and related utilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage storage pools and oversee volume lifecycle operations.
• Work with mainframe storage concepts, including catalogs and aliases.
• Execute and interpret MVS commands.
• Develop and maintain JCL and TSO scripts, including REXX and CLIST.
• Administer and support IBM DS8000 (DS8K) storage systems and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Strong knowledge of DFHSM, DFSMS, FDR, MVSRM, and related storage utilities.
• Experience managing storage pools and volume lifecycle operations.
• Solid understanding of mainframe storage architecture and concepts.
• Proficiency with MVS commands, JCL, TSO, REXX, and CLIST scripting.
• Familiarity with IBM GDPS and IBM DS8K storage systems.
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
