Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of mainframe applications and support production environments in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 rotating production support and lead escalated incident resolution.
• Monitor production systems daily to maintain integrity and meet service level agreements.
• Own configuration management, continuous integration, code analysis, and application monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment strategies to support rapid turnaround.
• Execute code installations and validate implementations with Quality Control, performing fallbacks and root cause analysis when needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development or production support.
• Hands-on experience with MVS Assembler and Mainframe CICS.
• Proficiency with Mainframe technologies, tools, and DB2 RDBMS.
• Experience with SQL and Splunk monitoring tools.
• Full life-cycle development experience in technology-driven environments.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps cultures.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with MQ Series messaging applications.
• Domain knowledge in credit card finance or financial services.
