Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe application components using standard technologies, ensuring alignment with coding, security, and architectural standards. You will analyze requirements, perform impact assessments, and execute coding, unit testing, and documentation for batch programs, online transactions, and interfaces.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve production incidents, defects, and regulatory change impacts.
• Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with defect fixes and data validation.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, release planning, and operational readiness activities.
• Design and enhance application components using JCL, COBOL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Document technical specifications and maintain code quality standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience with requirements analysis and impact assessment.
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of GenAI and AI applications in mainframe contexts.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
