Description

You will manage end-to-end application delivery and support for payment transaction settlement within a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify program logic using COBOL for batch and online applications.
• Design high-level and detailed technical documentation including HLD, DDD, and I-plans for card processing.
• Perform code tuning, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve performance issues and job abends.
• Lead hardware and software upgrades, disaster recovery procedures, and system audits.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Global Infrastructure Operations to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of mainframe experience with IBM JCL, CA7, COBOL, and REXX.
• Proficiency with IDMS, DB2, VSAM, and flat files.
• Experience using Endevor, EasyTrieve, File Master, Dispatch, View, UniTech, and Remedy.
• Hands-on experience with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Diners International merchant acquiring and settlement.
• Strong understanding of the Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to conduct unit testing using JCL, PROCs, and various mainframe utilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve critical application issues.
