Description

You will develop, test, and support mainframe-based applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug COBOL programs and reports following established best practices.
• Develop and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing and job scheduling.
• Design, develop, and manage DB2 databases to meet application data requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and participate in code reviews to ensure performance and quality.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to deliver enhancements and reporting solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Hands-on expertise with COBOL and JCL.
• Proficiency in TSO, IBM DFSORT, and Endevor.
• Experience using SD/SF, SAVRS, NDM, and File Manager.
• Strong technical experience developing and maintaining DB2 databases.
• Proven ability to manage batch processing and job scheduling.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CA7, Easytrieve, MQ, and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with the Hogan platform and banking domain.
