Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe components for support and project teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into formal technical specifications and application code.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and project management activities.
• Resolve complex end-user issues in collaboration with Business Analysts.
• Create and revise technical documentation, including user guides and training materials.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders during analysis and development phases.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, SQL, VSAM, and MVS.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mainframe development.
• Ability to write and review technical specifications against functional objectives.
• Experience interfacing with business and IT teams to gather requirements.
• Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operational workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
