Description

Design, develop, and maintain core mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, and IMS. Optimize workflows, data structures, and system performance for both batch and online processing environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and associated technologies.
• Support batch and online processing systems using mainframe utilities.
• Optimize workflows, data structures, and overall system performance.
• Integrate mainframe systems with modern platforms and APIs.
• Conduct deep debugging and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in COBOL.
• Proficiency with JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, and IMS.
• In-depth understanding of batch and online processing.
• Experience with mainframe utilities and modernization strategies.
• Proven skills in debugging and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Waterfall methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating mainframe systems with modern platforms.
