Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications to support core business processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize JCL jobs for batch processing and scheduling.
• Develop and support CICS online programs for real-time transaction processing.
• Manage DB2 databases, including data storage, retrieval, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Handle VSAM files for data storage, access, and file management operations.
• Analyze business requirements and deliver techno-functional solutions in a mainframe environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in DB2 database management and SQL.
• Experience with CICS for online transaction processing.
• Knowledge of JCL for job control and scheduling.
• Familiarity with VSAM file structures and management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Techno-functional background with ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
