Description

Develop and maintain core mainframe applications for the banking and finance sector.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, and SQL.
• Support and maintain existing mainframe systems, including VSAM and DB2.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for mainframe applications.
• Apply analytical skills to solve complex technical problems within legacy systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with IBM product tools.
• Demonstrated experience in the Banking and Finance domain.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Experience supporting complex mainframe systems.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in SAS.
