Description

You will own the development of data transfer solutions using SFTP, VPN tunnels, and server applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data transfer solutions for image files and network transmission.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Dev Leads, and offshore teams to resolve blockers and validate requirements.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including change management, QA testing, and production readiness.
• Design and execute system checks, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance testing protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting and Unix environments.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with DB2 and VSAM.
• Hands-on use of TWS, Endeavor, and Transmission (BizLink or NDM).
• Background in banking, payments, or insurance sectors.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Lockbox, ImageScan, Deluxe, Commercial Card, or Merchant Service Platforms.
• Experience with Tivoli and Java.
