Description

You will develop, maintain, and debug online and batch application programs for large-scale mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and install programming systems for critical applications.
• Review, analyze, and modify existing codebases to improve functionality and performance.
• Maintain operational stability of online and batch application programs.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for system continuity.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Experience with IMS, VSAM, and FOCUS data management.
• Hands-on experience with ALGOL, SORT, and HALEX utilities.
• Knowledge of WFL and tools including Mocha, Altris, Stored PROC, and Easytrieve.
• Working knowledge of z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux, and IBM System z platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
