Description

Develop and maintain online transaction processing applications in a mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and CICS/DB2.
• Manage data structures using IMS, VSAM, and JCL.
• Execute transaction processing tasks to ensure system stability.
• Utilize mainframe utilities for data manipulation and sorting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and CICS/DB2.
• Experience with IMS and JCL.
• Hands-on work with VSAM and Sync Sort.
• Experience using Change Man.
• Direct experience with online transaction processing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with batch processing.
