Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications, converting functional requirements into technical solutions for mainframe workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug code using IBM Assembler (HLASM), JCL, and DB2.
• Support modernization efforts including re-engineering or re-platforming workloads.
• Utilize mainframe utilities and debugging tools to ensure code stability.
• Work within Agile and DevOps frameworks to manage code deployments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong programming skills in IBM Assembler (HLASM).
• Hands-on experience with JCL, VSAM, CICS, and DB2.
• Proficiency with mainframe debugging and testing tools such as Xpeditor and Abend-AID.
• Experience with Mainframe Utilities including SORT and IDCAMS.
• Knowledge of z/OS environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools for mainframe like Endevor, Git, and Jenkins.
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of COBOL.
• Exposure to AWS cloud environments.
