Description

You will develop and maintain applications on mainframe platforms, focusing on Cobol and C implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using Cobol and C.
• Resolve architectural issues related to scalability, performance, and security.
• Design and model data according to industry standards and SOLID principles.
• Execute automated functional testing using UFT, Postman, and Selenium.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Cobol and C programming languages.
• Experience with Git or similar source management tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of software design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Hands-on experience with UFT, Postman, and Selenium.
• Understanding of software-hardware interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work independently on complex projects under tight deadlines.
