Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise-wide applications using COBOL, CICS, MQ, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain COBOL code for CICS transactions.
• Manage batch processing and JCL scripts.
• Integrate with MQ for messaging and DB2 for data access.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver software updates.
• Document technical designs and present analysis to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with CICS.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Experience with VSAM files and MQ.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REXX or SAS.
• Cloud exposure or batch processing optimization.
• Familiarity with Easytrieve and Changeman.
