Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications to support core business functions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Analyze, modify, and optimize DB2-based application components for performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues by debugging mainframe jobs and implementing fixes.
• Execute unit, integration, and validation testing for mainframe modules.
• Maintain batch processes and application logic according to coding standards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL.
• Deep experience with DB2 programming and application components.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mainframe applications and batch processes in production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
