Description

You will develop, maintain, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and IMS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and debug applications on mainframe systems.
• Extract business rules from existing COBOL and CICS code via reverse engineering.
• Develop and manage online applications using CICS.
• Process and manage data using DB2 and IMS.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to define requirements for future state development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in mainframe development.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Strong working knowledge of DB2 and IMS.
• Proven experience with CICS development and management.
• Demonstrable reverse engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
