Description

Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications in a z/OS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2/IMS.
• Design z/OS APIs and batch processing programs.
• Analyze legacy systems to implement enhancements, fixes, and improvements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in application modernization, re-engineering, and re-platforming initiatives.

Required Skills

• 4–12 years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2/IMS.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization for DB2 and IMS.
• Familiarity with batch processing and z/OS environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including version control and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
