Description

You will maintain and enhance a mission-critical legacy vehicle invoicing and drafting application.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhancements for online and batch COBOL programs.
• Provide production support for legacy mainframe systems.
• Drive requirements gathering with business partners.
• Document technical solutions and system interconnections.
• Deliver high-quality code within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL development.
• Expertise in IMS (Online and Batch).
• Proficiency with JCL and VSAM.
• Strong experience with DB2.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Utilities such as File Manager and IEBGENER.
• Experience with ENDEVOR.
• Ability to work within Agile techniques and strict process discipline.
• Strong analytical skills to manage complex application interconnections.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing upstream and downstream application dependencies.
