Description

Manage and maintain database systems within an international infrastructure support environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up database environments including Oracle, SAP ASE (Sybase), or MSSQL.
• Execute database operations such as patching, upgrades, downgrades, and performance tuning.
• Manage data integrity through backup, restore, and data reorganization tasks.
• Handle ETL processes, cross-migrations, and new system implementations.
• Perform user management and SQL-T scripting to support banking domain requirements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in database administration or related roles.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SAP ASE (Sybase), or MSSQL.
• Strong Shell Scripting and SQL-T Scripting skills.
• Experience with Linux (RedHat) or Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of DB setup, configuration, and backup/restore procedures.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle Expd/Imp or BCP.
• Competency with RMAN and database patching.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Toad for Oracle or SAP ASE (Sybase).
• Knowledge of NetBackup, Puppet, or Ansible.
