Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using standard programming processes and systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems analysis and design for mainframe applications.
• Write and test code using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Manage data within DB2 environments.
• Execute development tasks following the SDLC methodology.
• Handle communications protocols and EDI transaction formats.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with CICS and MVS.
• Strong knowledge of DB2.
• Experience working within the SDLC methodology.
• Knowledge of systems analysis and design processes.
• Experience with communication protocols such as FTP.
• Experience with EDI formats and HIPAA transactions including 837P, 837I, and 835.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
