Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications while optimizing system performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Write and optimize batch jobs and database queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs.
• Integrate mainframe systems with other applications.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with CICS and DB2.
• Working knowledge of VSAM.
• Experience with mainframe operating systems such as z/OS.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of database management and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
