Description

You will develop and enhance mainframe applications, owning the full lifecycle from requirements analysis to integration support.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Translate business requirements into efficient, structured technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure code meets specifications.
• Write and execute unit test cases, preparing results for quality assurance.
• Coordinate with testers and users for integration, QAT, and UAT phases.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 database management.
• Experience with VSAM and CICS.
• Ability to debug and apply problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with version control and change management tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in on-shore/off-shore models with shift flexibility.
