Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe-based applications and databases within enterprise-level systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and SQL.
• Analyze enterprise data flows and perform root cause analysis to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technical leads for requirement gathering and impact analysis.
• Execute end-to-end testing in Finance and Brokerage environments ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in Agile workflows using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Stored Procedures and messaging queues (IBM MQ or Kafka).
• Proficiency with CICS, Easytrieve, Datacom, and SORT utilities.
• Experience using Control-M, ChangeMan, FileAid, Startool, TOAD, and SPUFI.
• Practical knowledge of Agile tools including JIRA and Rally.
• Strong ability to perform impact analysis across upstream and downstream organizations.
• Experience working within regulatory frameworks such as DTC and SEC.

Preferred Skills

• REXX for QA automation or SDET tasks.
• BlueZone Session Manager scripting.
