Description

You will build, maintain, and support core mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create technical and program specifications based on requirement analysis.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Perform code reviews, debug issues, and support during critical incidents.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and mainframe best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development, support, and deployment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in COBOL.
• Strong hands-on expertise in CICS.
• Strong hands-on expertise in JCL.
• Strong hands-on expertise in VSAM.
• Strong hands-on expertise in DB2.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
