Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications for the life insurance domain.

You will design, code, test, and debug COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications. You will collaborate with business analysts, QA, and project managers to deliver projects, while providing technical guidance to junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Translate life insurance business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Perform system analysis, coding, debugging, and documentation for assigned applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and QA teams to deliver projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Extensive experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL.
• Experience with CICS.
• Strong knowledge of DB2.
• Deep understanding of life insurance processes and regulations.
• Ability to perform full-lifecycle system analysis and design.

• Any Graduate degree.
