You will design, maintain, and document legacy mainframe modules and business processes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document requirements for data and business processes.
• Design and coordinate changes to existing legacy modules.
• Estimate feasibility and compatibility of new changes with current programs.
• Perform quality control on all project deliverables and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of COBOL development on mainframe environments.
• 5+ years of experience with DB2 on the mainframe.
• 5+ years of CICS development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with JCL and VSAM.
• Proficiency with TSO, Endevor, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of programming principles, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Experience analyzing and modifying financial processes.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years developing web services using COBOL and CICS.
• Experience with State or county government environments.
• Enterprise-level application development across multiple business areas.
