Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications for the banking and finance sector, ensuring robust batch processing and service exposure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core applications using COBOL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Write and manage JCL scripts to support batch processing workflows.
• Implement API exposure for existing mainframe services.
• Coordinate technical tasks between onshore and offshore teams.
• Deliver software updates using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of mainframe development experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 database management.
• Expertise in JCL for job control and batch processing.
• Experience with VSAM file management.
• Hands-on experience with CICS transaction processing.
• Practical application of Agile Methodologies.
• Experience coordinating with onshore and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the banking and finance industry.
