Description

You will design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable mainframe application solutions within a structured SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive teams through all phases of analysis, design, development, testing, and production.
• Develop and support mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL.
• Perform mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning to reduce I/Os, CPU Time, MSUs, and MIPs.
• Manage file formats and comparisons using File-AID and version control via Endeavor.
• Debug and conduct unit testing using Intertest and Abend-AID while managing job scheduling with Control-M.

Required Skills

• 11-16 years of relevant experience in mainframe application development.
• Mandatory experience in Stock Plan (SOPT).
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning tools including Strobe, iStrobe, and Platinum Detector.
• Hands-on experience with File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, Abend-AID, and Control-M.
• Strong understanding of structured SDLC processes and QA procedures, guidelines, and controls.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Any Graduate degree.
