Description

You will develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL applications across batch and online environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance COBOL applications for batch and online processing.
• Write, modify, and debug Job Control Language (JCL) for batch execution.
• Design and maintain VSAM files (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS).
• Develop and optimize DB2 SQL queries and related programs.
• Analyze production issues and implement necessary fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with CICS transactions.
• Experience with Batch Processing workflows.
• Expertise in JCL scripting and usage.
• Working knowledge of VSAM file structures.
• Strong experience with DB2, including SQL and embedded SQL.
• Familiarity with TSO/ISPF and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and documentation standards.
