Description

You will own the development, implementation, and support of scalable mainframe applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and lead an interactive team implementing mainframe application solutions.
• Perform mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning to reduce I/Os, CPU Time, MSUs, and MIPs.
• Utilize Strobe, iStrobe, and Platinum Detector for format and comparison using File-AID.
• Manage version control using Endeavor and debug/unit test using Intertest and Abend-AID.
• Implement job scheduling using Control-M within a structured SDLC process.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development, automation, and support.
• 7+ years of application development experience, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and CICS.
• Experience with MQ-Series and SQL.
• Experience with File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, and Abend-AID.
• Proven ability in critical thinking and translating business requirements.
• Experience with structured SDLC (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Production).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management domains.
